In sharp contrast, Chris Bowmer, the not-so-young tyro, even watches the action as he moves to his fielding position at cow corner.
	But he does have a classic bowling action.
The rather more sedate (but undoubtedly golden-armed) Neil Taylor trundles up with the village sail/shelter/teen refuse as a backdrop.
	In village cricket - especially on a hot afternoon - no-one hurries between overs. A stroll is more the order of the day.
And, to cap it all off, here is a classic scene from a village cricket match. We've even got the sun streaming down. What a shame it's nearly the end of the season.
