Welcome to some of the action from Hinton-in-the-Hedges on Saturday, June 9th, 2006.

Pete Allen follows one all the way back round to the keeper via his leg side ...
.... whilst new boy, Mike Bristow, takes guard. (It's a pity he didn't tuck his shirt in, though. He might have hit the ball more.)
Pete shows he can hit out. It seems that their keeper was just as surprised as Pete that the batsman missed it.
Mike finally makes contact with one on his way to a run-an-over total of 30.
Poor old Pete trudges off just one short of his fifty. Mind you, there were those of us who thought he might have been hiding his grin at just avoiding having to buy a jug!
Dave Robinson plays a rare defensive shot in his whirlwind innings.
Bod stands as solidly as ever, wondering what all the fuss is about.
